Creating tasks from Microsoft Teams

How to use

The easiest way to turn a message from Teams into a task in Sunsama is to click on the "..." menu that appears next to any message in Teams and then click "Create a task".

Then, you'll be prompted to set up the task with a title, #channel, and other properties.

Click "Add task", and the task will be created in Sunsama. When you open that task in Sunsama, you'll see the content of the Teams message as well as a backlink to the message in Teams.

Best practices

Turn messages that will take several minute to respond to into tasks and plan them out in your day so you don't feel overwhelmed by substantial requests from Teams.
