Walkthrough

How to timebox

The simplest way to timebox a task is to grab the task and drag and drop it onto the calendar view at a time where you want to work on it. You may also auto-schedule tasks by hovering and typing X, or right-clicking and selecting “Add to calendar.”

Timeboxing and your calendar

When you timebox a task, you’re creating a calendar event on one of your connected Google, Outlook, or Apple Calendars. Sunsama does not have its own calendar; it relies on and uses your connected calendar.

You can control which calendar tasks are timeboxed to via the Choosing your Calendar guide. Calendar event privacy, availability, and reminders are customizable through settings. Sunsama also offers auto-rescheduling if conflicts or early completions occur.
