Vulnerability Disclosure Program
How to report a security vulnerability in Sunsama, what is in scope, and the safe harbor we offer researchers.
No technology is perfect, and Summay, Inc. believes that working with skilled security researchers across the globe is crucial in identifying weaknesses in any technology. If you believe you’ve found a security issue in our product or service, we encourage you to notify us. We welcome working with you to resolve the issue promptly.
Reporting
Report vulnerabilities to our security team by emailing development@sunsama.com. Please include the affected URL, the steps to reproduce, and the impact you were able to demonstrate.
For general security questions that are not vulnerability reports, contact security@sunsama.com.
Scope
- sunsama.com: only for reports not related to custom HTTP headers or CSRF
- app.sunsama.com
Disclosure policy
- Let us know as soon as possible upon discovery of a potential security issue, and we’ll make every effort to quickly resolve the issue.
- Provide us a reasonable amount of time to resolve the issue before any disclosure to the public or a third party.
- Make a good faith effort to avoid privacy violations, destruction of data, and interruption or degradation of our service. Only interact with accounts you own or with explicit permission of the account holder.
- Try not to create multiple accounts unless absolutely necessary, and limit yourself to two accounts in total if you need more than one. For additional accounts, please contact us for permission first.
- We are a small team with limited bandwidth and maintain a zero-tolerance policy for “beg bounties” and other forms of low-quality, generic reports. We will not respond to unprofessional security “researchers” and will immediately block future communication from them.
