Fast, searchable set of commands for quickly taking in-app actions.
Quickly search for and execute the most important actions in the application entirely from your keyboard with Cmd K on Mac or Ctrl K on Windows.
Walkthrough
Pulling up and using the command bar
Type Cmd K or Ctrl K to bring up the command bar. Then you can start typing to search for commands.
Almost anything you can do with your mouse or keyboard shortcuts, and more, is available in the command bar.
In some cases, certain commands will be greyed out. This happens when a certain action isn’t available in your current view.
Task actions
While hovering over a task and opening the command bar, standard task actions are available to be performed on that focused task, such as starting the timer on that task, assigning a channel, etc.
Workspace navigation
The command bar can also be used to navigate and filter your workspace to different views. For example:
- Type the name of a view like “focus” to enter focus mode
- Type “dark” to toggle dark mode
- Type ”#” to filter by channel
You can also be taken to different places, such as:
- Type “settings” to go to your Sunsama settings
- Type “Help” to go to this help center
Search your tasks
Use the command bar as a quick way to search tasks. But for a more robust search, use the search feature in the right hand panel.
Sort your task list
Sort the task list that is focused chronologically or other ways by typing the word “Sort”.
